Rising Tides

Rising tides that ebb and flow
Bring solace in the night
Cresting waves that gently rush
Fulfills the aching need
Upon the planes embracing
Pure light so sure surrounds
Cradles both the earth and sky
By strength of cherished vows
Joined as one a balance
Equal pair so brought to life
Unity casts sweet passions flame
Basks within a trust unknown
A moments grace so captivating
Yet not a minute separate spent
Ignites a deep set inner spark
Captures life
in love and tears
Softly kneads the beating heart
