For a Moment

For A Moment
For a moment I was lost in time
Gently swaying in the breeze
Fear of lies, my dreams mistook
Til in truth my soul realized
We are all by Goddess sent
Daily choose from wrong and right
To Divine we pray for greater things
Heal within their light
Is not the meanderings of pain
A spirits restless in its realm
But is a call to faith
So strongly heard
Where true love and hope remain
Captivated by the bluest skies
Where eagles soar and glide
Freedom lived eternally
So peacefully to face each night
For a moment I had lost my mind
Thought my escape would change it all
But still was left the lingering
A harshness that does never cease
Regardless of the space and time
So the Goddess then does lead me home
My heart again to feel
No longer holding back the years
Is not for anyone but myself
And those I so sacredly hold
Yet maybe it is that we all connect
Somewhere, somehow, someway
My life is mine, my dreams explode
A stairway lit in spiraled light
Where by the Lady's grace am led
With foundations built of love
