In The Night
It's been you for so long
I don't know how to let go
Sometimes even I don't understand
Through the words and the dreams
But I run when you call
As we fall to the floor
And there's only me to blame
Why can't we find happiness apart
If all we do is hide
Professing all our needs
While still living the routine
Just to make it through the day
Lying to the world outside
Shattered when you're gone
One touch on my skin
And I'm flying
In your eyes I am lost
I can't deny it
And it's you that I need
In the night
We come and we go
We leave and we stay
How many more years do we fight
Just to keep our love alive
Waiting on forever
Until we're wasted and drained
It's been you for so long
And I don't wanna let go
One touch on my mind
I'll be here when you call
Lying to the world outside
