Sands of Time

Sands of Time
Script of life infused
The flame that burns eternal
Shall heal the fevered wounds
Among the palace walls remain
Buried deep beneath the ruins
The golden sword of strength
Protects the gate of truth
Mysteries beyond the seal
Lie scattered in the dark
Still within the shadows
The guardian retreats to warn
By life of single breath
A sanctity is formed
Upon the priests of then and now
A Circle so was cast
Sacred light of purest tones
In love their trust is found
No words are needed
No grand laid schemes
Just the spark of soul divine
For upon the paper, script and stone
The mark is often seen
At glance our paths may differ
Though in light remain the same
Our faith held close in daily prayer
Someday shall lead us home
