Get Over It

Get Over It
Judgements swooning
Beneath a darkened sky
Demeaning verses
Ridiculed and degraded
Is not your place
To such sanctions cast
In the end the truth be told
Is oly your heart to be weighed
Insufferable and intolerant
In your ways perverse
Turn the mirror thrice
Reality there before you
Abuse is most definitely
A two way street
Actions speak louder than your words
Half sided tales we hear
Seen when no one is looking
Must we walk, talk, be like you?
Conform to your cruelty
Anger, fear, resentment churning
Steps to healing
When the pain is burning
So oft your words are the same
Can you not see it?
Blinded by your own ignorance
When everyone is wrong
Liars, cheats and whiners
Everyone is to blame
Is always someone isn't it
Someone who just gets under your skin
Ahh, and now you see
Innocence can be claimed by few
So bite your tongue and remember this
It is you who for granted takes

Author's Notes: This is an ugly poem I admit and I apologize. I wrote this for my sister-in-law and others who feel like everyone should do and act as they do and how they have to right to find disgust in others who are forced to deal with unimaginable life changes. They lack even an iota of compassion for anyone but themselves and care nothing about the pain people face everyday. They put themselves on pedastools only to wave everyone else off as if their emotions mean nothing like some b-rated loyal subjects. I think it's very sad actually.
If you don't like someone for whatever reason and you think you're treated badly then walk away don't batter them until they drop!
