Battle Cry

Battle Cry
Wings spread free
The eagles cry
Sacred lands
Eternal light
Desert sands are calling
Hunters great
Now tread upon
Concrete junction
Heavy with pain
Chemical burning
Bones brittle
Ashen waste
From the shadows a pleading
Mercy of the sky
Lead them home
Along the plains
Toward brothers
Who, in sanctity
Will their totems erect
And join in healing rite
Feathered crown
To each amid depravity
Freely given
Born of the heavens
Warhorse draped in blue
Reaching out
Pathways darkened
Sounds of thunder plot their course
To lighted hollows of the earth
Beneath the stars
Joined souls emerge

Author's Notes: I had a vision today. It was of a Shawnee Chief and his warriors. They said their burial ground was being disturbed and was in either Pennsylvania or Ohio. A big building is going up in its place. Oddly, they do not wish to stop it, only to move themselves. Even odder, the Chief asked to be placed with the Apache’s in New Mexico. He felt that they would be better protected and left undisturbed. They spoke much of caves and totems. In vision still, when I called upon the Apache Chief and asked for their passage, he was quite willing to accept. I do not know much history on these two tribes but the alliance in this vision was very interesting to say the least. One last note, they asked for some further help in guiding their way. The distinct feeling I got was by means of Shamanic drumming. Does that make sense? So if anyone is headed out to any drum circles, please keep these two tribes in mind.
