Can you hear it
The slow rise, the burning
Exploding into harmonious crescendo
Calling me to you
Leaving me breathless
It is you
Infusing life within my soul
Savage meandering
I am home
Immersed in the sea you have created
As heaven and earth combine
You are like no other
A symphony to be adored
Strong and driven
Emotions spurned in your wake
Beneath your fingers
Rest the strings to my heart
You are sweet perfection
As it has always been
Our trust held sacred
Cherished beyond words
Especially this day
For without you,
The stillness would be deafening
Our dreams would never be
