Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams
Tossing and turning, side to side
Worrying and dreams, nightmares and schemes
Am shivering in the coolness of the air
Half asleep, half awake
Of sweet dreams I am deprived
Calling out
Beneath wings that warmed me
But when I awoke again they were gone
It was then I heard the whisper
There beside me
Sleep my angel, you must sleep
The silver haired spirit, so softly he spoke
A dad, grandfather, born of the heavens
Held me tight within his arms
And into sweet dreams I drifted

Author's Notes: I had a vision or dream last night of a friend of mines Dad or Step Father, actually I'm not really sure. I don't often see or dream of this person, maybe once or twice. He was a good Dad. I felt like a little girl again.
I don't know why I dream or have visions of some of the people I do, but you know what, they are all beautiful and I don't think I would know anymore how to live my life any other way.
