London 860

by SilverAngelFire

Age Group: Adult

London 860

There it was, in a dream
Just yesterday
London 860, a ticket to ride
To fly free amidst the billowing clouds
But I panicked as I wandered upon a ship
A ship where I worked, doing something, I don't know what
It had beautiful wood stained cabinetry
Up and down stairwells, through winding halls
There was a hospital room with a baby, a nurse
And defensive father being told he mustn't be
The masses were part of some demonstration, I could not fathom
For I cannot react on cue, nor would I want to
My mind churning my stomach into wretched waves
No, no you cannot cancel only renew
The voice clear along the line of communication fell silent
I must cancel this flight I begged, 860 is too high a price

Maybe it is only dream of things to come
London a symbolic representation of the returning of the sun
A time when I choose to bind myself and hide in fear
Though I want nothing more than to be there
Still, logic always prevails preceding choices to be made
All important pleasures or bills to pay
I chose wrong once and only once
I cannot again that chance take

Maybe I should save, is that what it's foretelling
Oh my God this truly is a battle within me
Honesty overtakes me always
Impossible to keep this big yap shut
When standing only 3 steps from grace
But I must keep silent that reality in which I live
Not of that unobtainable dream I allow myself to believe
No, that I would not burden you with
It is this life I am to keep quiet like an obedient little girl
But I digress

So the dream is the dream, London 860
What does it mean?
Oh lo and behold there it is and I'm still not getting it

Author's Notes: Sorry, I had a dream yesterday that is really affecting me. Just trying to work it out and as usual at least part of my psychic babble has already come to pass.
