Taking control of me,
dark wings unfold,
and on my soul,
darkness has taken hold,
feeling the pain,
feeling the hate,
of a world suffering,
being the man,
forgetting the child,
cursing a god that was never there,
corrupting the mind,
tarnishing the soul,
destroying the body that houses both,
breathing fire,
living darkness,
i am the hell we live in!
Author's Notes: This piece i wrote on the when i was a child and revised on the 17th of January 2008 represents my realization of the evil in today's world and how it has affected my outlook on life. When i saw how the words and events of this day and age are leaving the minds of our country empty and droid like, and how what i feel and believe is considered evil and wrong to the majority.
