Moonlight on my tongue.

I drank in the moonlight and swallowed it whole.
Down in the depths of me the moon waxed,
the stars blazed and the tides grazed my ankles, confused.
Is my belly truly pulling the tide?
The stars shine on, I'm ready to give birth to this full moon within me!
Moonlight shining behind my smile, I'm ready to give it back.
I raise up my voice and sing to the sky, releasing that sweet moon, raising it up to the heavens on my voice.
Bitter sweet.
Perhaps I shall snack on the sun next...
Author's Notes: I dreamed this up on a whim. The moon is a gorgeous and sensual force and I amuse myself at the thought of being able to swallow it whole, like a Greek goddess on a binge.
