From my midnight journey I have returned
As that first cup of coffee brushes my lips
At the headlines of the day I find myself giggling
There is truth at times in those daily astrological readings
As the warm morning sun dances upon dew drops
My every sense is heightened
Though in all honesty
I am oblivious to the beauty of this spring day
For the mystery of the moonlight still lingers
Captivating me with each vision recounted
This tell tale smile
There is nothing I could want more
It were as if I were floating upon a cloud top
To other worlds softly drifting
My soul enveloped in pure magnificence
Slowly driving me deeper into this dreamlike state
Taking hold of my body and mind
And leading me gently into submission
I give myself willingly to the mercy of the wind
Welcoming the flood of sensation washing over me
As I ascend higher upon each plane
I am left breathless and in awe
Hypnotized by the waves crashing
I don’t want to let go, no not yet
Whilst light radiates from all four corners
Breathing life into the energies entwining
I am pleasantly lost in every rise and fall of the tide
Til there is nothing left to speak of
But stillness and silence
It is in those final moments
As such sweet sleep overtakes me
And I find myself curled up tight
There in my own personal heaven
Without words
Without thought
Without fear
I am right where my hearts tells me I belong
