Boundaries

Life is as life does
Some mysteries are better left hidden
Nothing is ever impossible
When you’re hell bent on finding a resolution
Absolute trust is certainly the key
Did you not think after all these years
Some how, some way
Moments I cannot push from my mind
The steam rising gently in the foreground
As gossamer wings caress my skin
That soft voice edges me closer still
Kneading me higher upon each plane
The flame slowly growing stronger
As I drift between the worlds
To that ultimate existence
Perhaps it is true
When those flood gates are open
I am more apt to receive a vision or two
Typically is only of one very determined figure
Whose heart does not go unwelcome
But it is not oft I see your face
I think somewhere inside me it’s still too difficult
Though there are many memories that come and go
In quiet conversation
I imagine you are still quite a beautiful terror
With your timing off
Popping around during the most inopportune of moments
How vivid it was this night
In deep thought and perplexed I’d say you were
My eyes wide open as the boundary’s crossed
Whilst my consciousness comes crashing to the ground
Amidst a barrage of frustrated mumblings that grace my ear
Deep breath, let’s try this again
So it is with that, I hope that you will forgive me
Thinking of you during these daylight hours
For the smile the thought of you brings
Remains as always undiminished

Author's Notes: All that interruption over a FB page announcement???? Now if someone can explain to me why I have to have such vivid visions over something so mundane I would be more than appreciative!
