They will call it politics
We just call it lies
And every time we call them on it
The will just deny
They say they care about us
That has yet to be proven true
The power seems to strip them
Of any memory of me or you
Yet we all share equal blame
As we perpetuate their myth
So next time you go to vote
Remember whom you're dealing with
