Sun rise on the water
Liquid glass
Reflecting shafts
Of golden love
Dolphins break the surface
Chasing morning
Memories collected
Below and above, she
Stands upon the shoreline
Singing to her mother
Songs of longing
Deep inside, she
Cries out her name
Arms raised above her
Embraced by spray
Of the morning tide
Yemaya
Yemaya
I can feel her pulling, when
The moon smiles full
The tides within me
Ebb and rise
O' Mother ocean
Our beginning
Collecting tears, from
A million eyes
She sheds her clothing
Steps into the waves
Lays back
Closes her eyes
The gentle motion
The healing waters
The comfort knowing
The sun will rise
Chorus
Rivers racing down the mountainsides
Washing all the heartache away
Meet with mother ocean at high tide
And our burdens are shed in the spray
Sunset on the water
Deep blue glass
Anticipation, of
The rising moon
A flash of green
On the horizon
Solar Slumber
Over seaside dunes, she
Lays upon the edge
Of mother ocean
Each wave touches
Her naked skin
Dreams of love
Dreams of hope
Smiles for tomorrow
Healing night begins
