Silence

"Silence"
Hold on for someone to see
They will come to fear me
It will do no good to run away
The circle will come back someday
She tries to smile, holding back the tears
She's embraced by love, but overfilled with fear
He stole her away
She buried a child today
He took something from her
Her ability to feel secure
He gave her disease and rapture
She cries in her lifelong torture
They know she died that day
But they just turned and walked away
With a grip of rage she fights everyday
She hangs on one more day to stay awake
She killed her babies so they could have peace
She killed her babies do you know what that means
They're dead, no longer here
On and on she lives in fear
The thoughts keep her awake at night
The thoughts that keep racing in her mind
She tries to stay sane
Knowing it is all in vain
Her babies are in the summerland
Where they'll never be hurt but that man.
Author's Notes: This is about a personal tragedy. Not about me killing anyone, just feeling like I did.
