The Light

I don't want to be the electric light
In your room,
I want to be your candle's flame
In your window.
I don't want to be your lantern
In the winter,
I want to be the fire in your hearth.
I don't want to be your sun,
In the summer,
When your world is at it's best and brightest
I want to be your moon
In the fall
And shine on you in you darkest moment.
I want to be the stars in your eyes,
And the spark in your heart.
Author's Notes: I wrote this for the guy I love, whom I might add, that I met on this site.....this is kind of me showing my gratitude to My Goddess Dana, and the people on this site who inadvertantly brought us together.......
