resurrection

I may feel emptiness
but I am not empty
I may feel discouraged
but I have not given in
I may feel full of grace
but I'm still down here
in this heavy world
I may have thought
I've run out of words..
the storm is coming again
I am that lightning
that breath of incredible force
a wave of immeasurable movement
the shift that pulls you forth
and this will never die
though it turns from time to time
resurrection- this is mine
as birds to the air
as fish to the sea
I am apart of this
this is apart of me
Author's Notes: I wrote this while I was a bit down and going through some hard times. A storm came on, and my nerves settled- so I began to write.
