The Water Takes Me Home (Canadian Heart)

I listen to the fluid music
and I am singing along.
I'm drifting to another place
as the Water takes me Home.
The full Moon and the high tide,
Myself, Lunar Pixie...the song, "High Water".
Connecting with the ebb and flow
and the Water takes me Home.
Oh, I am a Lunar Pixie
and so I suppose
that it's really only natural
that the Water takes me Home.
It always begins for me,
as deep connections with Water.
Yet now I'm drifting... Homesick
and I long to be going Home.
To the one place I belong,
the only place I want to go to...
O Canada!
Oh, please take me Home!
I see your Rivers,
your Lakes and the Ocean,
I hear your Waterfalls roar:
"Pixie, let me take you Home!"
I know I've been too long away
from the Beauty that I felt there.
I'm U.S. born, with a Canadian Heart...
but the Water can take me Home.
My Homesick Heart is aching
and I know I must return!
I'll say my fond farewells and then
...Let the Water take me Home...

Author's Notes: It's really kind of odd for me. I hear the song ("High Water" by Rush) and two things happen.
I do feel the Water connection, that the Water is our home... I love The Ocean and Waterfalls, standing out in the Rain... ;-)
Ahh, but I also feel myself desperatly missing Canada. The one place I've been where I truely felt I belonged. All too brief a visit, many years ago. I never forgot that feeling, though. "I'm HOME... this is where I belong, where I should have always been." I did not want to leave.
I do plan to go back when I am able to... whenever that may be. ;-)
