A Dream
by Alenia
Age Group: Adult
Winding through the trees,
Lace blowing to and fro,
A lady ever so gracefully,
Dances to a tune not known.
Lilting and light in throes,
Hither and thither the wind,
Higher and higher the song goes,
The lace still billowing.
Alas, she must stop you see,
A man there before her,
Passing those last few trees,
He lifts her high above.
Her laughter is lovely to hear,
The beauty not withstanding,
And the pair (we are not to leer) ,
So we shall leave them be.
Author's Notes: I was having fun one day, and decided to write this, one of the few poems/pieces that haven't been dark and dreary. Enjoy!
