I crouch here in the dark
Emotions breaking like ocean swells
I welcome the dark with open arms
Tears swarm my eyes; drown my sight
Darkness enfolds my soul
The salty taste upon my tongue
Love still exists in my heart
Bitter, confused, torn, in existance
Silence descends suffocating me
I struggle to reach the light
The one piece of happiness
Dangling within reach only...
Only to be snatched back
From my outstretched fingers
I sigh and give up; Falling down down
The silences eats my screams
The darkness hides the blood
My body lies curled in the dark
Open eyes; open mouth; all seeing;
All hearing; no one's at home.
