Pixie Wings and Night Things

Age Group: Adult
Breathe in the cool night air
Feel the wind touched with rain
See the halo 'round the Moon.
Slowly out, my breath a little cloud.
Hear the "Night Things" sing and play,
Calling to me, "Join us, Lunar Pixie!"
Dancing in the glow of the night,
The street lights and the Moon light,
I step from Starlight to Starlight.
My body and Spirit dance and play
The "Night Things" smile and OH!,
I feel that smile fill me with joy!
But the rain is closer and I am tired...
I linger at the open door a while,
Invite the "Night Things" in...
...and I sleep...
...and I dream...
...and I dance again...

Author's Notes: Oh, it's been a long time since I danced and played with the "Night Things" but I felt the call again a couple of weeks ago. It felt so good to dance and play the way I did when I was just a little kid! I think those "Night Things" were happy to have me back for another dance. I really did feel a smile out there...
Just a little reminder, to do those things that you loved when you were a kid! It's still such a great joy!
Anyway... g'night folks. Keep on dancing!
