A Whispering Message

A Whispering Message
She sat in blinded daydreaming light ...
When the Whispering Messages were ever so slight.
Even so , She heard nonetheless ...
"Where are my Witches" , She heard plainly asked !
She questioned herself ... and questioned to Thee ...
"Who is that speaking to me through the Trees ..
Indeed the Wind talks and the Seas may roar ,
But this message I'm hearing ..
Is something much more !!
Do I really hear this .. or am I going insane" ?
She sat very still with her ears greatly strained.
Behold again , She hears precisely ...
"Where are my Witches , Where might they be ...
I'm growing tired , I'm old and weary.
Help I have asked for so many years ....
I've screamed , I've yelled and cried many tears.
Tis *I* , Gaia , Your Mother , Your Earth ...
*I* which has given all living things Birth !
Is there no regard , no respect anymore ...
For that which has given thee life and much more ?
Where are my Witches , Where might they be ...
I've been used and abused and disowned , you see.
So no , my dear child , you are not going mad ...
Its a message to thee ...
To inform you I'm sad" !
The Whispering Message continues with She ...
"Rise my Witches , And Witches to Be ...
You've been here now for many Centuries !
You know what to do .. and what must be done !
Rise Up , Rise Up !
Rise Up Like the Sun !
Take heed to the Wise and to that which is Old ...
Do not drown in your flesh and your gold !
Instead let this song remain in your heart ...
I have always been with you .. and I shall never part !
Rise my Witches , And Witches to Be ..
You've been here now for many Centuries !
You know what to do .. and what must be done ..
Rise Up , Rise Up ..
Rise One by One" !
Now She sits as the daydreaming light
Fades away ... slowly .... and ever so slight ...
The song and the message she heard very clear ...
Echoes her mind , her heart and her ears.
Leaving her speechless with so much to say ...
The question still lingering and unanswered today.

Author's Notes: This poem was written directly after an experience I had while sitting at work behind my desk. It was such a profound experience , I heard the message so clearly ! Mother Earth was whispering directly into my ear.
I quickly grabbed a pencil and started writing !
I wrote a few before this one .. but have since written many more. I am just now beginning to share some of them.
I hope you enjoy it.
