The Wench

The Wench
The Wench strolled down to Mulligan's Way
With wine in hand in the light of day.
Thinking herself might find her man
"Todays the day , that is the plan" !
Her bodice laced ever so tight
Her breasts beaming like pale moonlight !
Her lips as red as the thorny rose and
Turned up and small , her powdered nose !
She walked right in with smiles and hopes
But upon arrival she did not know
The man she sought whom held her heart
Walked swiftly past her with no regard !
The Wench then smiled and sat herself down
She didn't flinch , she didn't frown!
As she drank , she hurt inside
Every piece about to die.
She slams the glass on the wooden frame
"I will not stop til I've won this game !"
She then rose and crossed the room
With her glass in hand .. yet filled with gloom ..
"Another another " she shouts to the maid
"I will have another .. if I have my way" !!
Like drink and love she seeks him still ..
To this day .. she always will !
