The full moon shouts me up at night,
I hear her call and cannot stay asleep,
Where faeries weep and play outside,
I sing hex hymns of praise,
Extoll the grace of silvered gaze,
I listen to proud oaks discourse,
Of rampant springs or winter's force,
Too soon to bed again I go,
In dreams recall sweet lunar lilt,
Illuminating love and light,
Her watchful gaze brings peaceful still.
