Get out of my head!
Stop invading my dreams
as I sleep in my bed.
You are of my past,
So get out of my head!
Leave me alone, now!
I don't want to think of you-
the pain you caused me, and how!
You and I are over,
So leave me alone, now!
I have not forgotten...
Tho I wish I could.
The good, the bad, the ugly.
I have not forgotten...
Tho I wish I could.
You brought out the worst of me.
Stay out of my mind!
We were poison to eachother and
a worse match we could never find.
I don't hate you, really,
But... Stay out of my mind!
I haven't thought of you for so long-
why returnto me now?
Memory like a half-forgotten song.
I thought it was laid to rest
'Cause I haven't thought of you for so long.
Get out of my head,
Leave me alone, now
and Stay out of my mind.
After all...
YOU were the one
who said goodbye.
Author's Notes: Sometimes I hate memory.
This is just a bit of venting, trying to get the past out of my head. Most of the time, it's not a problem, my ex- stays in the past. But once in a great while, memory drags him out and I see the past play out again.
I remember the fights, the anger, the bitter parting.
Sometimes, I really hate memory.
(sigh) Clear it out! Release it all!
