Trying to heal Depression

I carve the rune into my body,
blood welling in open flesh.
The pain brings a smile to my lips,
feeling the edge pull gently on my skin.
Halgiz, hail the destructor,
this is the rune of my birth.
It is fitting in my life,
all I have I slowly destroy.
Slowly myself from the inside,
blackening my heart.
Making it a place where love fears to tread,
a place of painful desolation.
The hurt feels good,
the smile now gone.
Only my own emptiness,
only my own end.
