A Few Simple Words

that's all it took
to bring a smile
out of the blue.
Just a few simple words...

A moment you took
to turn the dial
and shift the hue
with a few simple words.
Just a few simple words
and my mood you shook!
Gone seemed the miles
between me and you
from your few simple words.
And my own simple words,
(hardly worth a look) ...
From my small file
I give to you
these few simple words...
