A Goddess She Shall Be

Age Group: Adult
A Goddess She Shall Be
A child She is born
And a child She remains
Until the darkness and the gloom
Seem like everlasting pain.
Filled with depression
She lifts her weary head
One eye barely opened
And her mind full of dread.
Yet all in one piece
With Her body almost grown
She goes on bended knee,
Hoping not to be alone.
Realizing halfway there
Her God she must call
With full embracing trust
He shall not let Her fall.
With Her Consort's gentle help
She stands up tall and straight
So eager and so willing,
She soars through Hella's Gate !
Her mind and Her heart
Slowly growing steady
Her spirit slowly filling
Seeming willing , more than ready.
Alas she leaves the Gates
And a Maiden she becomes !
So beautiful , light and fair
She sings her Maiden song !
With Maidenform now gone
A Mother She has sewn
Bringing forth a life
One that she has longed.
Once more on bended knees
In the pain and all alone
What happened to Her youth
Her own child now is grown.
Tired and dusty she appears
Distressed and teary eyed,
Through Her pride and Her strength
She again submits and abides !
Through desperation She came
Through heartbreak She went
Through life's eternal woes
She's a most delicate blend !
Maiden , Mother, Crone
Three steps of life She weeps
Through the dusk , dark and light
A Goddess She shall be !
