I Dreamed I Was... (Shapeshifter II)

A Creature with impossible name
For any human tongue to speak...
And this is what I dreamed I was
Three elements are my own domain
In this, my body strange and sleek...
I stretch my wings, I flex my claws
My tail flips in the crystal water
My sensitive whiskers do twitch...
My feathers teased by gentle breeze
I am one-third the Dolphin's daughter
And with the Panther I've been stitched...
On Eagle's wings I fly with ease
Graceful beauty, this exotic shape
My strength, my power limitless...
In this form I feel I am Home
Swimming deep through the lovely sea-scape
I know the Dolphin mind like this...
As I dance in my deep-sea home
Stalking silent through the woods tonight
I feel the Panther strength as mine...
As I prowl my dark forest home
Wings lift me now as I take to flight
Soaring high over tallest pine...
Eagle vision and the sky, my home
A Creature with impossible name
For any human tongue to speak...
And this is what I dreamed I was

Author's Notes: When I was very small, I started dreaming this odd creature, and I felt the power, even then.
It's part Dolphin, part Panther and part Eagle. A beautiful creature, wonderful energy and power, and I LOVE being it! I once wondered, what do I call it, and the next dream I had, I called out my creature's name. No human language that I've encountered could come close.
I feel all three minds, all three strengths and see as all three see. And It all melds to one. It's just so d*mn cool!
