The Crush
by Lunar Pixie

Last night I dreamed I saw you, dear
and in your arms I felt no fear.
You drew me in and held me near,
you swept away my grateful tear.
Softly you whispered in my ear:
"I am so glad that you are here."
And as we shared a lovely red,
these gentle words you warmly said:
"Don't look back, love, just look ahead,
that painful past is cold and dead.
And all those lies that you were fed...
ma belle ami, you were misled."
So soft and gentle, your sweet kiss
and your warm hands upon my hips...
I've never before felt like this.
And I felt your sweet fingertips
bringing me closer to true bliss
as once again you touched my lips.
Another place, another time...
I could be yours, you could be mine.
Oh is it such a wicked crime?,
to wish to share a glass of wine?
And long for more than written rhyme...
for you have charmed this Heart of mine!
I ache to feel your tender touch...
to feel that Sacred Lover's rush!
Perhaps I'm saying far too much,
but it seems I just cannot hush.
I know, my dear, I dream too much
...this is one poet's foolish crush.
