Behold a wonderous day
The kind where all creatures are out to play
With overcast sky
Enough, but not too much light
Birds sing
Rain does ring
Listen close, what do you hear
The sound is given to spirit, not ear
No bright sun on this day
No blackened sky, no children at play
Beckoned by nature, the creator
The one true liberator
She holds you close to her
Letting you know all is fine until you are sure
Blessed be all who this path belong
The road will prevail even if hard and long
Author's Notes: I was sitting outside admiring the clouds that were gathering as I wrote this. By the end, I was in the rain writing. It was so wonderful.
