Through The Trees

Looking out the window
Through the trees
Full Moon glowing in one little gap
And a single bright star through another
Looking out the window
Through the trees
Cloud-scapes drifting, shifting
Playing with the gaps between the trees
Looking out the window
Through the trees
Sunlight shimmers and dances
Sweet green hues bring me a smile
Looking through the trees
Out in the garden
Treetops gently brushing the sky
And from within, the songbirds call me
Looking through the trees
Out in the garden
See the arching branches meet
A gateway to another world I see
Looking through the trees
Out in the garden
And I follow birdsongs through
Find myself in the timeless beauty
Surrounded by the trees...
Author's Notes: Sometimes the window isn't enough...
I can see the beauty, night and day. But getting out, standing in the midst of all that beauty...
With the trees, the birds, the bright Moon or the warm Sun... Now THAT is truely wonderful! :-)
