All in a Day

Age Group: Adult
Feeling the sky tremor,
The earths light curtain lifts.
Stretching forth grasping
The earth pulling himself up
And over the horizon.
Moving up with glowing hope and joy
A new day is born.
Born for who,
Born to who,
Born for who?
Re these the questions,
Or the answers
And if the later true
Then who would ask such a thing
And where would it be done?
To whom would it be asked
And from where the answers come.
After pondering this dilemma
The end of the day is almost come.
The stretching arms pulling
Night across the sky.
We find ourselves lit by starts,
Amazed and in awe.
Sometimes more is done
By doing nothing.
Accomplishing yet still unknowing
We stand firm on where we are,
Yet question who are we.
