Witches

Witch? What is a witch?
A witch is a person of wisdom
And with a respect for nature
Masters of astrology, herbology
Divination seeing
With thine third eye
Not blinded are thee
Persecuted
Punished
For believing in a divine
Lost to humanity
Ancient mother
New lost to the ages
Seeks to find her children
Known by many names
Isis, Asarte, Hekate, Inana, Kali
Her other half
The horned one
Misrepresented
As Lucifer
Ignorance
Blinds many
From truth
And fear
Of the unknown
Leads to unthinkable acts
Ones of the divine
Witches
Seekers of knowledge
That long ago
Has been forgotten
