Your love through struggle

Age Group: Adult
Only through struggle
have I found rest
with pieces of me taken away
I begin to understand
where my hope is
in this dark night,
how could I ever
go back to the life
I had before
now that I know you
you'r love
has set me free
it has awakwned
my heart
and my soul
from it's slumber
I never want to leave
your arms
I realize now
I've left nothing behind
except illusions
of what I thought love was,
but now
I have clear sight
I have found love
and hope in your arms
and when first feelings fade
I will still be here
to love you.
