Little Bird Little Bird

Little bird Little bird, sitting on your nest
Are you Home for a rest Little bird Little bird?
Little bird Little bird will you spread your wings and fly?
High up in the sky Little bird Little bird?
Spread your wings, take your flight
Far, and out of sight Little bird Little bird
Little bird Little bird, where will you go?
Mountain tops with snow, Little bird Little bird?
Little bird Little bird how about a nice warm beach
Far, and out of reach Little bird Little bird?
There are so many places for you to go
But, Little bird, you should always know:
No matter how far your wings may fly
There’s something to be said for your own patch of sky.
Go ahead! Fly and roam!
Just remember Little bird, you are always welcome Home.
Author's Notes: It's a personal belief that even though a fledgling may streach their wings, they should always be able to come home - no matter where home may be.
