Brigid and Dagda

Dancing in the bright circle of spirals
Brigid reigns sitting at the earnest hearth
And Dagda shares timeless green rituals
Thus, bad spirits banished instantly depart
And bright faeries prance around the oak’s heart
Brigid reigns sitting at the earnest hearth
Oh! Explorers to Ireland be so smart
To know the craft of magical art
And bright faeries prancing around oak’s heart
Before the green kingdom was torn apart
Danced before us, the Jack-in-the-Green
To know the craft of magical art
Thalia, Aglaia and Euphrosyne
Danced in the grand halls of fine artists
Danced before us, the Jack-in-the-Green
Until Brigid then departed afar
Where she hid in the New World and she
Danced in the grand halls of fine artists
Alas! The forest now beckons her dance.
