Depressing
by Silver Doves
Age Group: Adult
Light-hearted and free
joyous and happy
Little thing I wish could be
wish to exist within me.
To feel free and flying
Instead of inside and crying
At the beach drying
Not at home dying.
Emotions I could not achieve
just because I don't believe
And everyday I grieve and grieve
Hoping and praying that I could leave.
Everyday life gets harder
Everyday my life gets shorter
Everyday the hole gets bigger
As everyday I get closer.
Giving up all my freedom
To indulge in my boredom
Losing all of my wisdom
In this dark, soulless kingdom.
