My Lammas 2004

My Lammas 2004
Sit quietly and meditate for a little while on the purpose of this Sabbat. Free all thoughts... When you feel ready to begin, please let me know…
:::walking deosil, outlining the perimeter of the Circle first with corn meal , then salted water, then sage, then sword:::
I walk this circle once around Protection energy shall abound
I walk around this time again Time and energy both shall bend
I walk it now thrice you see Now tis sacred space, so mote it be!
As it is below, so it is above this circle is now open, in perfect trust and love!
Join us here within this girth Calling forth air, fire, water and earth
Lord and Lady of the divine Come forth now and seal the line
Make all clean within this plot Remove negativity any have brought
In perfect love and perfect trust Mirrors of honor and all that is just
Seal this space around us now Time of reaping from the plough
Protect us here as we doth vow Paying homage to lord and frau
All things have their season. And each one has a reason We gather oats and hyson With feelings wrought in frisson
First Harvest, the Wheel has turned We reap what we have earned We think of what we learned And plan for what we yearn
So here now in Sacred Space We measure not time nor place As we look upon the face those who give to us with grace
Lleu Llaw Gyffes of the Wales at this time we doth all hail The first grain cut, offered to Divine Death and resurrection at this time
Offering dolls made out of grains part ye now 'ward Annwn again Unite us with our warrior skill while on harvest fests we all shall fill
Give we thanks for all we get be it modest or abundant Share we now our oats and corn with those who are of forest born
We now give thanks to the slain one reflecting back on what we've done We bury this offering to the slain king and ask for safe harvest until next spring
So mote it be!
Habondia Blessed Mother Earth Full ye be with Blessed birth soon you will bring forth the King and bounty to all mankind bring
Mother Goddess of the Corn Full with child which will be born Today we honor deity And thank her for what she gives to me
Mother Goddess of the Grain Rebirth is taught thru life again Bless our harvest and bounty And protect us, So Mote it Be!
Drink we wine and Break we bread rebirth promised for the dead And all fear we now will shed As we prepare for months ahead
Thank you Father, reborn as heir Thank you Mother for answering prayer Thank you now for what we share Go with peace, earth, water, fire & air
This circle now we all will close As I lay down my pen of prose and share we all the love that flows Blessed Be, All now which goes…
So Mote it Be!
