Silent Pain

"Silent Pain"
Alone in his Pain
No voice to Scream.
A Ghost none will hear.
A bad lonely Dream.
Opens his mouth to attempt his own noise
To his horror all that's heard
Is another's thoughts and voice.
No words of his own to be heard can he speak.
The ones that get out get twisted
or termed mean or weak.
So Pain suffered in Silence.
In Pain all alone.
None hears or understands him.
Not speaking words of his own.
So he drifts and he wonders
If the day should soon fall
When he should become Truly
A Ghost with these Walls.
No way to show his Love
That won't be misunderstood
Always the Badguy
Never seen as "Good"
Ghostly Voice and Words
Never come out right.
Someone always gets hurt
or it ends in a fight.
So the "Ghost" speaks in Silence, Pain & Fear
In Misery he wonders
"Who's voice & words do they hear?"
None seem able to see
His pain, his cries, his hurt
To hear behind the noise
For his True voice and Words.
He Sits in Silent pain & waits
For his "Curse" to be lifted.
For someone who will "Listen"
For Someone who is "Gifted"
Someone who can see & hear him
For who he Truly is..
Most People have too much anger
Or "Noise" within thier heads
To be able to "Listen"
To "What is Meant"
Not just what's said.
So the Ghost sits in Silent Misery
And continues to "Send"
Hoping someone will hear
His cries for help.

Author's Notes: This poem IS Copy-righted by me. It used to be called "Silent Misery", But That doesn't seem to fit.
I have actually been trying to think of a better title for it.
Any Ideas?

This peom addresses the sense of frustrationand Futility as well as uselessness felt when a person feels afraid to speak to the people they care about, or interact with on a regular basis. Or even just people they want to talk to, but are afraid that what they say will be misinterpretted or misunderstood.
