Samhain Fires

Ye Witches, hear these tidings:
Now Samhain fires are burning!
Come tread the round on sacred ground
The Sabbat Wheel is turning!
Set your spirits free
Blessed be
By Earth, Air, Water, and Fire
Let none have fear
Who enters here
But fulfillment of desire!
Author's Notes: These are song lyrics from my album *The Queen of Earth and Sky*, and are performed by me on the recording with drum, harmonizing with myself via overdubs. Since I can't recreate the multiple harmonies singlehandedly in person, if there are no other singers present to harmonize, the spoken words work well as dramatic poetry to open a Samhain ritual. Adding a drumbeat works nicely if desired.
