Blood Moon Ritual 2005
We have gathered here tonight to share our thoughts and energies. Thank you all for coming!
(casting the circle)
sweeping 'round and all about, to seal all negativity out!
I walk this circle once around to cleanse and consecrate this ground.
I walk this circle once again... time and energy both shall bend.
I walk thrice this time with fire, to ask for blessings from Mother and Sire
With this point I mark a line...
sending energy into space and time...
sacred space for all inside ...
veil 'tween two worlds I now divide...
As it below, so it is above
this circle is now open
in perfect trust and love...
So mote it be!
Calling Forth the Blessed Earth
Solid, Strong, home of my birth
Join us now we ask of thee
welcome earth, so mote it be!
Calling Forth the Blessed Air
swift of wing and golden fair
Join us now we ask of thee
welcome Air, so mote it be!
Calling Forth the Blessed Fire
faith and love both burn higher
Join us now we ask of thee
welcome Fire, so mote it be!
Calling Forth the Water Here
healing powers, removing fear
Join us now we ask of thee
welcome Water, so mote it be!
Come forth Mother, join us now
sit amongst us O' Blessed Frau
show us love and your beauty
welcome Mother, so mote it be!
Come forth Father, of the wood
Blessed Horned One, thou art good
laying down your life for me
welcome Father, so mote it be!
We gather during this moon of blood
during time of hurricane and flood
seeing lots loss and death
destruction round from elements breath
We now will think of those who sleep
the harvested of the great reap
and think of how the Father gives
his life each year so we may live
A special prayer, Mother above
for those we care for, those we love
we ask you for embracing hold
protect them from hunger and from cold
And those who karma clocks run out
we know you greet them without a doubt
and walk them to the other side
where happiness abounds O' Blessed Bride
We see you in the sky tonight
O' Powerful one, so shiny and bright
watching over the earth so full
staying close in the gravitational pull
We thank you for this cup we nurse
May we never One know Thirst
and as we pass and share this grain
May we never feel Hunger pain
This we ask this now from she and he
protect us now, so mote it be!
And now I feel I have run out of time
for this prayer and this rhyme
and so this circle I will close
finishing up with song and prose
Mother Moon, Father Sun
you share yourselves with everyone
We love you both so evenly
Go if you must, So mote it be!
Water, Fire, Air and Earth
Elements of Spiritual Rebirth
Your powers round we all can see
we thank you now, so mote it be!
Drawing up the line with sword
having honored both Lady and Lord
I thank now you, for being with me
Go in Peace and in Love, So mote it be!
