Mother Crone

Dark, knowing Crone, You are my Mother, You left me here, Here with your Wisdom. The coldness in the air that night, Was like what was in my heart, Tears ever-flowing, Even in sleep, didn't cease. Beloved Crone, Take this eternal pain away, Stop my tears, End my sadness. Let me look upon your sweet face once again, Feel your loving arms embrace your lonely child, Gaze into your caring eyes, Come back to me, My Crone, My mortal Mother.
