Mother Moon

Round and supple, Like a breast of milk, Milk of your essence, Essence ofthe universe. You are the patient Mother that looks down with love upon your children. The stars glitter in Your long, black hair that is the night skye, We look up into Your face, Silent and knowing. Pale beauty all aglow, Like a pregnant woman, The soft dew on your white skin shimmers, You are smooth and steady there, Awaiting Your Time. Calm and mysterious, Yet able to provoke wild weather, emotions and change. Mother Moon, You are my Bearer, flowing and round, Your belly full of life.
