Wheel of Life

You are the Light in my Darkness, The young Warrior at my side, My Golden Defender, Son of my lover, The flower your father and I planted. We share the same blood, A Sanguine Bond that can never be broken, Our hearts, our veins, pump the same Red. We are Isis and Horus, Your little head rests at my bosom, My arms embrace and warm you, keeping you always to me. And as I protect and carry you now, so shall you me when I am silver and Croned, The Wheel of Life ever turning, You first a child, then a Warrior, and finally a Lord, Awaiting the day you plant your own seed to nurture, love and protect.
Author's Notes: This one is about my son, Zaidan, and how I hope we will always be. :)
