We were one being for many moons, You fed off my body, You absorbed my very soul. I nurtured and sustained you, Carried your life within my womb, Heard your voice before you could speak. You felt everything I felt, My joy, my anger, my sadness, We laughed together. By giving you life you made mine worth living, You stirred my core, My belly under the moon's glow. Beautiful pain of love, Mother and child as one, A sacred act of the Goddess, My MoonBeam forever. ) 0 (
