Deeper

Want to delve deep into the earth, Back to my Mother's Womb, Into the soil, roots and rocks, Somewhere cool and rich and fertile, untouched, except by the Goddess, Somewhere deeper... Deep where life is hidden, buried, mystery, Deep into the caverns where water trickles, And deeper still to the Core of Life, molten and hot, red and alive, My Mother's core. Here I wish to be and here I wish to stay awhile, Taking in the cool sanctity, safety and purity of the earth, Absorbing Her Life, Energy and Love, My flesh becomes the soil, my bones become the rocks, my blood, the water. Our Beginning, Our End, Our Rebirth...
Author's Notes: I wrote this when I felt extra depressed and just wanted to hide somewhere I would be happy.
