Rose

Age Group: Adult
Smelling of sun, the stench of death he holds her,
hooded and dark, healing her pain,
her bruised heart healing slowly under his touch the smell of impending death getting fainter farther as a rose blooms slowly,
he is the gardener to her,
helping her grow, but she still has thorns trying to keep him at bay not ready or sure about why, why he could, should love someone like her,
her thorns turn in and outward hurting herself and him, but she stretches to him like a rose to the sun, even though the sun means death, rebrith, life
Life water dripping her heart tries to heal but the darkness that is not her own consumes it,
He a champion still fights at her side even though he doesn't love her, trying to make her whole for the one he thinks she loves, knowing otherwise she may wither away like a rose in January
Even if he is only in her head he takes care of her, putting her to bed when the world is too much, keeping her safe in dreams than waking From them when even those fail, trying to cure her of her lose, of a soul mates spurned love, knowing it would kill him if he found out she hides it to him self.
He helps her to move on, not always in the right direction. the others sometimes get control and than damage is done, but when they sleep he trys to heal it like always, but the dreams were failing more and more often untill
Him.
Untill he came and spoke to her, talked to her. He knows that they are nothing alike but their souls are....
