Dark Eyes

I close my eyes to waking
And open them to dreams
Visions begin their making
Reality loosens its seams
From deep within the mists
Of ebony and silver light
I pause and catch a glimpse
Of your dark eyes burning bright
You step out of the darkness
Into my deepest fantasies
The mists recede to rest
And become the midnight seas
The gentle waves lap the shore
As you come to me and smile
Your burning eyes share their lore
And my soul they burn and beguile
Enthralled by your passionate gaze
I pull you to my side
As temperatures quickly raise
I stare into your dark eyes
Embraced in heated moments
Wreathed in passion's flame
I wake to morning's lament
But my soul will never be the same
Author's Notes: Greetings and Salutations,
This was a piece dedicated to the dark and passionate goddess. Not much else to say. It speaks of itself.
